Well, if you’ve got this far, managed to dissect our opening proposal and wheedle out all its references, you show promise, keep reading. We’re looking to swell our ranks with a host of new team members across a a wide array of areas. Our ideal candidates will obviously have a love of all things nerdy, but also a basic eye for design, the ability to “fit” in our team, to spark what everyone else sparks to, A basic sense of performance and a strong willingness to create and innovate. Preferably based in the UK(negotiable) we also need applicants to be proficient in the English language and we concretely require that all members of staff at nerd eyes only are eighteen years of age or older; non negotiable. A Disregard for normal working schedule and hours is always handy!

Working with us you will help mold a resource for nerds everywhere, developing connections to local and online communities, creating original, unique content across varied genres and develop your skills while having fun. However it is important now to point out the Wampa in the room, all our positions are currently on a voluntary basis, by applying for the position you acknowledge that we are currently unable to monetarily compensate you for your work. We will however provide training and assistance to you as needed as well as look for other ways to pay you back(e.g. Free stuff, Event attendance, develop portfolios, Increased employ-ability and connections).

ROLES:

Writers/content creators (Article, Video, Podcast.)

• All members of our team will work together to develop conceptual campaigns.

• Members of this team need to be confident enough to share and sell their ideas, and perceptive enough to know when to encourage others to share theirs.

• to create ideas that can be used across various platforms,

•  a good understanding of current media trends

• ability to produce original ideas,

• excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Graphic designers/artists

• Access to suitable equipment/software to deliver work to best possible degree.

• Helpful: Proficiency in Adobe products or other relevant applications (Illustrator, PhotoShop, Excel, Autodesk Maya, InDesign).

Web developers

LORD BUSINESS: Operations/business development/business affairs manager,Advertisement/marketing developers, Financial advisers.

These positions are key and most importantly applicants must fit comfortably into the creative family without risking the culture of creation. This is an area to which in many ways we are lacking, we’re looking for surety of purpose and innovative ideas to develop business. There are many projects that often are improved with the addition of music. We are looking for any and all musicians who might like to promote themselves through providing our site with applicable music across a myriad of projects. We are more than aware that there are many things we cannot think of, otherwise we would have thought of them. This category is for anyone who believes what they can offer is not covered under the purview of any previous positions.
